Lake Wisconsin Country Club has long been considered one of the top golf outing courses in South Central Wisconsin. The golf course is always in incredible condition and the club’s experienced professional staff is committed to providing outing organizers with all the tools they need to run an exceptional event.
The LWCC staff uses the BlueGolf tournament set-up and scoring system, allowing for the special touches that separate LWCC from the competition. Sponsors can choose any event format--from scramble to best ball—and it can be scored with the BlueGolf system. This means that all tournament participants can see the results posted on the scoreboard quickly and accuately.
From cart signs to custom scorecards, LWCC is organized to make events run smoothly. The LWCC staff can arrange and provide hole contests such as longest drive, closest to the pin, etc. The staff will place the events on the course before play, and retrieve them after the event is completed.
Lake Wisconsin Country Club has a fully stocked gift shop that can add to an outing in many ways. Merchandise gift certificates can be given to team and/or individual winners, allowing the winners to purchase the items they wish. Alternatively, outing sponsors can order tournament gifts or perhaps logo golf balls through the golf shop prior to the event at a very competitive price.
Lake Wisconsin is a soft spike facility. Metal spikes are not allowed. For a small fee, the staff can change any golf shoe to soft spikes.
Rental clubs are available at an additional cost, although advance reservations are helpful. Practice balls are also available as are power golf carts, In 2007, LWCC added a fleet of 50 new Yamaha golf carts.
Golf clinics are offered with an experienced PGA Professional. The clinics can range from ½ hour to 1 hour in length, with cost determined upon size of group. Clinics are a great way to interact with guests and can leave a very lasting impression.
LWCC provides beverage cart service on the course. The beverage cart is stocked with a variety of domestic beers, soft drinks, lemonade, water, juices, and snacks. The on-course beverage service can be personalized for the outing through beverage tabs or personalized drink tickets.
Golf outings are generally held on Wednesdays with shotgun starts available for larger groups. Rates are based on size and are negotiated with the Head Professional. Rates are subject to change based on course conditions and availability.
There are several meal options to choose from. First, select the buffet menu, a grill-out menu or a boxed lunch menu and then make your individual choices from within that specific menu. Feel free to contact the club for all of your options.
