Lake Wisconsin Country Club 2023 Monday Night League Information

WHEN: May 1st – August 28th (No play on Memorial Day, No play August 21st due to WSGA Senior Am)
16 weeks of play. Tee-times are from 4:00-5:45 off of #1 and #10.
COST:
League Fee: $40 per player. This includes $20 per player for the end of year banquet and $20 per player for prizes and team payouts.
Greens Fees: Weekly Greens fees are $25.00 per player. Carts can be rented at our normal 9-hole cart rate of $12 per person.
WSGA Handicap(required): $35.00
Season membership option: $400 – Includes greens fees for all 16 weeks, league dues, and USGA handicap
SIGN UP / REGISTRATION:
We will be using Golf Genius to register teams this year. One player will need to register their team of FOUR with names and emails. Tee-time registration be April 24th. We will have a league meeting on the 24th where one person from each team must be present. We will start handing numbers out at 5:30 p.m. and these will form the order of which teams can pick their tee-times. This will be your groups tee-time for the entire season, except for the first and last week of league which will be a shotgun due to daylight.
Teams must be paid in full or they will not be eligible to pick a tee-time. Payments can be made in the golf shop or over the phone once your team is registered on Golf Genius.
FORMAT:
This league is for the players who are looking to enjoy socialization and a less competitive atmosphere than our Tuesday Night League. Players will form teams of four players and you will be scored on two Net Best Ball on each hole using the Stableford Points system. This is further explained in the scoring section below. Team prizes will be awarded at the halfway point of the season, and at the end of the season.
SCORING:
The Stableford scoring system is a points-based system that rewards good holes but doesn’t punish you on bad holes. Each team will count 2 net best balls on each hole.
Double Bogey (or worse) – 0 Points
Bogey – 1 Point
Par – 2 Points
Birdie – 3 Points
Eagle – 4 Points
HANDICAPPING:
All players must have a USGA handicap for this league. The first 2 weeks of league play will be used to establish handicaps so there will be no team scoring those weeks. The maximum allowable handicap for this league is 18 for 9 holes, regardless of handicap calculations.
SUBSTITUTE PLAYERS:
If you are not able to play, you may find a substitute to take your place. Substitute players are subject to the weekly 9-hole greens fee and can only participate twice before being required to pay the league membership of $40.
PRIZES AND PAYOUTS:
We will release final payout schedules when registration is completed. Below is an example of payouts if we have 20 teams:
1st Place: $300($75/player)
2nd Place: $240($60/player)
3rd Place: $220($55/player)
4th Place: $200($50/player)
5th Place: $200($50/player)
6th-10th Place: 1 dozen Callaway Supersoft Golf Balls (per player)

When: April 18th- Sept 19th (No play on 4TH of July) – 22 weeks
5:30 p.m. shotgun every week(except first and last week, shotgun will be 4:45 due to daylight)
Cost:
Non-members: $550.00 - Includes greens fees for 22 weeks ($21 per week), league membership ($50), USGA Handicap ($35), and end of season Banquet.
Carts can be purchased at our daily 9-hole rate of $12 if you wish to ride
Full Members at LWCC: $50 for league membership; $35 for USGA Handicap if not already paid through membership dues.
REGISTRATION:
Registration will be available on Golf Genius. One player will designate themselves team captain and sign up both players including e-mails and phone numbers. Payment will be accepted in the golf shop or over the phone. The deadline for payments is April 10th. If your team is not paid in full by April 10th, we will attempt to fill your teams spot from the waiting list.
FORMAT:
Tuesday Night League is our traditional competitive Four-Ball league. Teams of two will compete against other teams of two in a net Best-Ball match play format. Handicaps will be played at 100% and matches will be played off the low handicap in the group. Teams will play a round-robin schedule so each team plays each other once. Your team will accumulate points throughout the whole season.
SCORING:
Each match has a possible 10 points:
1 Point for winning a hole
½ Point for tying a hole
1 Point for winning the match
½ Point for tying the match
MISSED WEEKS/ABSENT PLAYERS
If you are not able to find a replacement player on a week you cannot play, your partner will be required to play solo against the scheduled team. If both players on a team do not show up, the other team will play a match against par and will still be eligible to score points that week. There will be no make-up rounds if you miss a week.
SUBSTITUTE PLAYERS:
If you are not able to play, you may find a substitute to take your place. You must call the golf shop with your substitute’s information 24 hours in advance. If your substitute does not have a USGA handicap, we will use the System 36 calculations for a one-day handicap. This calculation can be found on the League Portal on Golf Genius. Substitutes can only play twice before they are required to pay the league membership.

1st Place - $200($100/player)
2nd Place - $150($75/player)
3rd Place - $125(62.50/player)
4th Place - $100($50/player)
5th Place - $75(37.50/player)

April 10th – This will be our registration day. All players need to have their fees paid. If your team is not paid in full, we will attempt to fill your spot from the waiting list.
